  11. I have done a little debugging on xdvik-1.6 to track down why it won't
  12. find my epsf files.  The problem is I set XDVIFONTS to my
  13. *engine-specific* fonts.  But then in init-path.c the function

  15. kpse_init_path()

  17. screws up.  It sees that kpse_override_path is set (to the font path!)
  18. and doesn't bother to consider the default TEXINPUTS.

  20. This is wrong.  XDVIFONTS is for fonts.

  22. It's not obvious to me how to fix this.
